Ville Nordberg is the founder and CEO of Trail Openers Oy. He leads strategic initiatives that help organizations create digitally sustainable services where performance, user experience, and environmental responsibility go hand in hand. He works at the intersection of green ICT strategy, low-emission software architecture, and business development. His focus is on helping public and private sector organizations align their digital operations with sustainability goals by: Meeting regulatory requirements such as CSRD and ISO/IEC 21031 Building future-ready digital services with measurable environmental impact Integrating sustainability into software development and procurement practices At Trail Openers, Ville is responsible for client strategy, sales, and recruiting. He ensures that the company delivers more than technical solutions, focusing on long-term value by helping organizations understand their digital carbon footprint and make informed decisions to reduce it. Ville contributes to the ISO/IEC 21031 standard on Software Carbon Intensity and actively participates in Finland’s national Green ICT initiatives through TIEKE and TIVIA.
