AWS experts will guide you through practical exercises using your own AWS sandbox account. You'll experience how Q Developer assists you with everything from architectural decisions and security reviews to API implementation and infrastructure-as-code optimization. You'll also get hands-on experience with Q Developer's ability to explain complex AWS concepts, generate detailed documentation, and provide contextual recommendations throughout your development process. AI is transforming more than email and documents – are your business systems ready?
🗓️ When: Thursday 11.9 at 10:30 – 11:30
📍 Where: The Barn, Bock’s Corner Brewery (next to Wasa Innovation Center)
While tools like ChatGPT and Copilot have introduced many to the power of AI, the next phase of transformation reaches much deeper. This session focuses on how AI will impact the future of business-critical software – from procurement and CRM to ERP and operations platforms.
What should business leaders know as AI becomes a core component of the tools they rely on every day?
How will software procurement strategies evolve?
What role should decision makers play in shaping this shift?
Join us for an engaging interview and discussion with Pekka Abrahamsson, Professor of Software Engineering at Tampere University, whose research focuses on AI and its impact on software and software development.
Pekka will be joined by Patrik Österåker, a Vaasa-based entrepreneur with a broad international career. Together, they will unpack the real business implications of AI – beyond chatbots and office automation – and provide guidance for leaders navigating this changing landscape.
🎙️ Opening Remarks: Mathias Rönnlund, Chief Architect at Mirka and co-organizer of Breezy Dev Conf
This session is held in parallel with Breezy Dev Conf at Wasa Innovation Center and is specially designed for business leaders, executives, and decision makers across industries.
